This workbench, which boasts lower shelves and two top shelves, gives you an extra worktop for your DIY projects, workshop tasks or warehouse preparation. It has been designed for work that is carried out whilst standing, with the added bonus of having all of your materials and tools within reach thanks to the handy top shelves.
The boltless assembly process is incredibly easy, but this bench is still strong and tough, with a maximum load capacity of up to 640kg per level for uniformly distributed loads.
Each workbench comes with 2 or 3 lower shelves and 2 top shelves (315mm depth) with 16mm chipboard or white (borderless) melamine decking.
Frame:
- 2 blue, slotted uprights for the back (1524mm)
- 2 blue, slotted uprights for the front (914mm)
- 4 black, plastic foot protectors for the bottom of the uprights.
Workbench levels:
- 2 short beams per level (800 or 1000mm)
- 2 long beams per level (1200, 1500, 1800 or 2000mm)
- One or more centre supports per level (see the table below)
NUMBER OF CENTRE SUPPORTS PER LEVEL BASED ON SIZE
- 1 sheet of 16mm chipboard or borderless melamine decking.
Top shelves:
- 2 blue, slotted uprights (596mm)
- 2 black, plastic foot protectors for the bottom of the uprights
- 4 side beams (315mm)
- 4 long beams (1200, 1500, 1800 or 2000mm)
- 2 sheets of 16mm chipboard or (borderless) melamine decking for the top shelves.
It so simple to link our workbenches together—you just need 2 bay connectors (1 for the front and one for the back). To calculate the total length of the row, you account for the fact that there will be a 6mm gap between each of the benches once the bay connectors are installed.
