Are you looking for a storage solution for your work clothes? If that’s the case, our Picking Garment Racks could be the answer. This incredibly robust rack is designed specifically for storing common work clothes, such as trousers, jackets, overalls or cold-weather gear.
This garment rack is part of our family of Picking racks for warehouses, which means you can also customise your rack by adding shelves or rails that are made to fit perfectly.
This type of rack is usually found in locations where work clothes need to be stored close by, such as in workshops or manufacturing plants.
One of the key advantages of this robust garment rack is that the rail is adjustable in 5cm increments. The rack can also be set up with two or three levels, so that you can hang clothing of different lengths together, such as overalls, trousers, vests, jackets, etc. Additionally, you can also choose the height and depth of your rack, which will come with a durable blue and orange epoxy finish.
Often, these types of garments can be end up being heavy, so this garment rack is designed to support up to 200kg per clothing rail and, for extra security, can be anchored to the floor using the bolts included.

Create a row of garment racks
You can create a whole row of racks to meet any storage need you may have, using a starter bay and as many extension bays as required.
What’s the difference between a starter and extension bay?
- Starter bay: This type of bay is composed of 4 uprights and as many rails as you like. It can be installed on its own and does not necessarily need to be connected to another bay. It is always the starting point when putting together a row of racks.
- Extension bay: This type of bay is composed of 2 uprights with as many rails added as you would like. It needs to be installed alongside another bay, with which it will share a set of uprights (as shown in the image below).
Please note that, in order to form a row of racks with a starter and several extension bays, the bays should have the same depth, but the height and width may be different.
To calculate the total length of the row of racks, you should add 160mm to the width of the initial starter bay and 50mm to each extension bay in the row. As an additional security measure, we recommend that you anchor the bays to the floor using the bolts that are included with each rack. Additionally, we recommend that you leave a gap of at least 100mm on either side of the row.
