Orders
Placing an order via our website is simple; however, you can also contact us by phone or email if you would like a free, personalised quote. We’re always happy to help you work out which of our products will best suit your needs.
When will my order be dispatched?
We keep over 10,000 components in stock, so we can prepare your order for delivery within 1-2 working days. You'll receive an email to let you know as soon as it's on its way.
What if my order is damaged on arrival?
If any products are damaged, you should record this on your delivery receipt and notify us at info@ractem.ie within 48 hours of receiving the products, so that we can arrange for a replacement to be sent as soon as possible.
Payments & Prices
What payment methods can I use?
We accept payments via Visa, Mastercard, PayPal and bank transfer.
Is VAT included in your listed prices?
No, as we provide industrial shelving for companies and businesses, VAT is not generally included in our listed prices. However, just below the main price on each product page, you can find the total price including VAT.
How do I get a VAT invoice?
We’ll automatically send you a VAT invoice shortly after your order has been processed. If you can’t find it in your inbox, check your spam folder in case it’s been redirected there.
Delivery
How much does delivery cost?
We offer free delivery on racking and shelving orders of over €900. Orders under that amount will incur a delivery fee of €50 + VAT. Check our Delivery & Returns section for more information.
How will my order be delivered?
Your order will be delivered kerbside, on a pallet, and will be either boxed or wrapped in black plastic film.
Products
How much weight can your shelving handle?
The weight capacities of our shelving units vary. You can find the maximum load per shelf for each product on its corresponding page. Our Picking 900, for example, can support up to 910kg per shelf.
Do your products come with a warranty?
Yes, we’re so confident in the quality of our products that we offer a 5-year guarantee. This warranty also covers defects that are not immediately apparent upon delivery.
Returns
Can I return a product?
In the extremely unlikely event that you’re not completely satisfied with one of our products, let us know and return the product within 14 working days of receiving your order, and we’ll refund the cost of the product.
How will my refund be paid?
The refund for the returned product will be paid to the payment method used to purchase it, except in the case of cash purchases, which will be refunded via bank transfer.
